The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg carries out interdisciplinary research and graduate education in secure, reliable, and trustworthy ICT systems and services. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for participation in national and international funding programs and for research collaboration with industrial and government partners, taking not only technical aspects into account but also addressing business/organisational, human/user, and legal/regulatory issues.
SnT is currently establishing a high quality and internationally attractive Ph.D. program. Moreover, the centre is active in supporting research activities having a positive impact on the region's financial, content/services, and communication/networking sectors. It provides a meeting place in Luxembourg for knowledge transfer and exchange of ideas with a special focus on small and medium sized businesses. Through the partnership program, SnT fosters efficient dissemination of research results commercially as well as academically.
In the TREsPASS project, SnT wsa involved in developing the socio-technical security model specifications and methods for quantitative analysis. Together with a research line with focus on modelling socio-technical attacks to system security at SnT, the centre also promoted collaboration between the partners of the TREsPASS and FNR-CORE STAST (Socio-Technical Analysis of Security and Trust) projects.
